Mr. Reed is the storyteller behind The Grandpa Book Series — a collection of rhyming, read-aloud adventures that make kids laugh, keep grandparents smiling, and maybe even convince teachers that story time is the best time.

As the proud dad of three daughters, Mr. Reed has logged countless hours reading picture books aloud, mastering the fine art of silly voices, dramatic pauses, and sometimes falling asleep himself halfway through the story. He believes the best children’s books are short enough to keep little ones hooked, fun enough to read again and again, and clever enough to make the grown-ups chuckle, too.

Born in the Pacific Northwest and now calling Colorado home, Mr. Reed writes because it makes him happy,  and because the world can always use more joy, more rhymes, and more Grandpa stories. When he’s not writing, you might find him driving his kids around town, drinking iced coffee, or plotting his next big adventure for Rusty and Grandpa.
